Denean Melcher is a full time wife, mother of four, graphics artist and photographer living in Blandon, Pennsylvania. As with many of today’s photographers, Denean started taking pictures as a hobby 25 years ago and recently turned professional.

| Dissatisfied with the work of professional portrait studios, Denean advanced her hobby though local photography classes and seminars and refined her skills by photographing her family and friends.
Denean describes herself as a “natural light” photographer, specializing in children and family portraits. Her candid approach and use of varying perspectives helps to capture a wide range of emotions and personality creating that extra dimension in her work.

In Deneans’ words, “I want to give parents photos that they look at and instantly fall in love with, a photo that shows their child’s true personality. I don’t set a timer or a goal in my sessions. We go where the child can be comfortable, and we play and take as long as we have to, to get “that shot". I want to not only give them that perfect photo, but the perfect photo taking experience as well.”
